  1. These photos represent the complexity and perplexity of what do we do about threats, war, etc. There will always be a conflict between military action and civilian populations. There are some who say that war has no morality, but there is another side in us that says we cannot and should not let compassion, caring, or moral treatment be ignored. Warriors may not have that privilege; we, as observers, have a hard time with that. Pure political struggles can take us to terrible places and with terrible results. Of course, this is terrible to witness as well. It is a pure quandary. Great PJ shots, Michael.

  2. When I heard Bush ask, on life TV prime time in the Netherlands……isn’t the Netherlands a province of Germany, I rest my case. I think a donkey’s ass is more smart than he is.
