Walk On By

If you see me walking down the street
And I start to cry each time we meet
Walk on by, walk on by

Make believe
That you don’t see the tears
Just let me grieve
In private ’cause each time I see you
I break down and cry
And walk on by (don’t stop)
And walk on by (don’t stop)
And walk on by

  1. The gentle sepia tones and the reflections of the Christmas lighting are very beautiful. And I also like how you integrated the “Cowboy” in your composition, the back-lighting is stunning.

  2. There’s a lot going on here. I really like the expressions of both people who were facing you–one seemingly wistful, one seeming to be absorbed in their own doings. And all of that in a nearly carnival-like atmosphere. The lyrics take me back just a “few” years when Dionne Warwick was the “voice” for our teen angst. Nice work!
